3. Statement of Intent:
We are eager to leverage our objective, publicly available research to contribute valuable data and risk management practices to the Renzo protocol & community. Our goal is to support informed, value-add decisions for the protocol. We commit to using our voting power to align the interests of REZ token holders, the Renzo protocol, EigenLayer, Symbiotic, and the broader Ethereum ecosystem. Lastly, we aim to put an additional emphasis on the AVS selection / delegation strategy with a focus on risk reward, thus striking the right balance for users and protocol sustainability.
4. Background and Qualifications:
Kairos Research is a dedicated crypto research firm specializing in restaking and the broader staking economy, particularly its impact on DeFi. Our team brings a wealth of experience from notable entities like Messari, CoinDesk, Stride (a liquid staking protocol), and the research, staking, and growth teams at Binance US. Additionally, one of our members actively serves as a governance delegate for Jito on Solana.
We have been deeply engaged in DeFi across the Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos ecosystems for over four years, which equips us with the insights needed to serve as effective governance delegates.
Throughout 2024, we have maintained a close watch on the restaking landscape daily. We produce monthly reports, accessible to the public, covering AVSs, LRT liquidity and utilization, and protocol (token) value accrual - all made possible by Renzo. Our comprehensive understanding of the restaking ecosystem, including Renzo’s collaborators and competitors, positions us well to assess the factors that will ensure Renzo’s sustainable, long-term success.
