REZ Incentives Report for January 2025
The REZ monthly incentives report is a comprehensive summary of REZ token allocations directed to certain DeFi protocols for aforementioned campaigns. This version summarizes the distribution of REZ incentives per RP-2 and RP-3 deployment. As earlier stated in the RP-2 proposal, token incentives will be distributed to each liquidity pair and adjusted as needed to align with the objectives of the proposal.
Activity Focus
ezSOL/JitoSOL
- For the month of January 2025, most focus was on Solana integrations, with Jito restaking under the spotlight.
- On Solana, Kamino was the major focus, bootstrapping liquidity on both LP-Vault pools and lending markets.
- REZ is available on the solana network via Wormhole implementation.
ezREZ Liquidity bootstrapping
- Per the RP-3 post, the Foundation shall mint ezREZ from the treasury and deploy ezREZ / REZ LP on Uniswap V3 using another REZ from the treasury.
- The pool consists of the ezREZ / REZ pair on UniswapV3 - provides liquid swaps for ezREZ versus users who choose to natively withdraw from the Renzo UI.
Contract/Address Specification
Distribution Report
RP-2 specified 50,000,000 REZ tokens to be used as liquidity incentives throughout the duration of the campaign. As already mentioned above, the month of January had a major focus for Kamino pools - bootstrapping liquidity for ezSOL (Jito restaking).
Of the 50,000,000 REZ tokens allocated, the following amount has been allocated for the quoted month:
Pool |
Total REZ Allocated |
Kamino ezSOL / JitoSOL |
4,200,000 REZ |
Total |
4,200,000 REZ |
ezREZ Liquidity
From the REZ community treasury, 7.5M REZ were sent to the address specified above to seed ezREZ / REZ liquidity on UniswapV3 in this transaction.
Summary
January experienced a huge focus on Jito restaking - incentives flow displaying a huge demand to satisfy user growth for ezSOL. Market conditions and narratives vary from time to time, and so will the incentives be structured to meet the best interest of the community and also accelerate user growth.
